Fairtrade is an international movement that works to protect and support small-scale farmers and workers in the South.
Our mission is to connect disadvantaged producers with consumers and promote trade justice. We believe that trade can be a fundamental driver of poverty reduction and greater sustainable development, but only if it is managed for that purpose, with greater equity and transparency than is currently the norm.
Fairtrade International unites three Producer Networks (Fairtrade Africa; CLAC – Latin America and the Caribbean; and NAP – Asia) and 21 Labelling Initiatives across Europe, Japan, North America, Mexico, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
